Selected proposal for the energy requalification of the architectural envelope. The solution proposes the creation of a shielding exoskeleton in perforated metal sheet capable of pursuing multiple objectives:
– the improvement of the daylight comfort obtained through parametric optimization of the holes;
– the stiffening of the structural system with an increase in anti-seismic performance;
– the construction of new spaces for the modernization of the HVAC and medical plant systems;
– possible expansion of the functional spaces;
– improvement of evacuation routes in case of emergencies.
Giuseppe Ridolfi provided advice to the working group with particular reference to the energy behavior of the architectural envelope and by conducting the computational simulations for optimizing the degree of transparency of the metal screens.
